Lake Michigan - Chicago, IL

Meredith is an artist, educator, traveler, cultivator of experiences and a life long student. She has been teaching in Waldorf schools since 2013, and has filled many roles including: land stewardship assistant, practical arts teacher (elementary, middle, and high school), student support coordinator, eighth grade class teacher, math support, mentor, and paraprofessional. Meredith will be completing her M.Ed from Antioch University New England this summer, and moving directly into a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Northwestern University (g. 2022). A cornerstone in her work is as an advocate for children, oppressed communities, and water. Over her life she has always been referred to as “la sirena” as a true being of the water. She has been dedicated to working with the great mysteries of the universe for over a decade, and has always believed, “you serve by doing, so get to work.” Meredith holds a Waldorf Elementary Education certificate from Antioch University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design and is slated to complete her Masters of Education from Antioch in Fall 2020.

She is on the team of Waldorf on Fire, a social networking and personal empowerment collaborative to decolonize parenting.

Meredith uses she, her, hers pronouns.
