Cumann an Róis - the Fellowship of the Rose

We will be Cumann an Róis; the Fellowship of the Rose and our purpose is to move closer to our inner knowledge together.

This is for those of you who wish to realise the great possibility that exists for us at this time of shrinking light; this season of peace, if only we can go within.

During the week leading up to the solstice, our capacity for introspection and shedding increase, as our Mother retreats to her roots. Our visionary powers are also at their peak.

And while She pulls us in, into stillness away from the material world; there is a counter force that draws us out into her opposite, into commerce and confusion.

We will support each other in these nine days to stay close to our inner knowledge.

Beginning next Friday December 12th, we will rise, in the dark, and light our candles at our respective shrines across the country. And meditate and pray for one hour, from 6.30am to 7.30am.

I will read from the Steps to Knowledge by Marshal Vian Summers. We will recite the old Marian mantra in our original language; an Choróin Mhuire, the Rosary. We will meditate on these mysteries, we will contemplate our role in them and finally, most importantly, we will sit in stillness together.

On the tenth day, we will make a ritual to the rising sun.

Tá an t-ádh linn. We are very lucky to be guided by Shannon Michaela of Women of the Water, a persistent pilgrim, a servant of the Goddess in her many forms; an ordained priestess of Isis and Magdalene and an advocate for sacred water. Shannon will guide us through the archetypal feminine energies of the hour, beginning on the 12th of December with the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I too will guide ye, sharing what I know of the Rose mysteries and this devotion to Mhuire Máthair na nGael in its current form.

A donation of €90 for the futherance of Cumann is suggested and can be made on wildirish.ie
Or you can send me a direct message to join - Siobhan de Paor.

We will do an instagram live together on Monday, December 8th at 9pm to talk about this.
