Join us on Saturday, 7th February, in the beautiful Solas Bhríde Centre, for our annual Féile Bríde event—registration from 10:00 am.
We are delighted to invite you to Féile Bríde 2026. Organised in partnership with the Brigidine Sisters and Cairde Bríde, and held at the beautiful Solas Bhríde Centre, this annual gathering brings people together for a day of shared learning, connection, and solidarity in response to the challenges facing our world today.
The programme features inspiring speakers, musicians, and community voices, shaping a day defined by both insight and imagination. Music and poetry are woven throughout, alongside conversation, a shared light lunch, tree planting, and opportunities to connect with solidarity groups.
This year’s theme, Walking the Way of Brigid, asks what it means to live with care and courage in our time. As we face intersecting crises, including war and militarism, forced displacement, climate injustice, and deepening inequality, contributors will shed light on these realities and consider how we might respond, guided by Brigid’s ethos.
Today, Brigid’s values offer a way to address injustice: peace, hospitality, generosity, care for the earth, and a steadfast commitment to one another. Her story speaks not only of resistance to cruel systems but of a vision of care rooted in love and solidarity, values that sit at the heart of Féile Bríde.
Walking the Way of Brigid invites us to move forward with radical hope, not as something abstract, but as something made real through mutual aid and collective action. All are welcome.
